Let me explain. Very early on in the 1930′s, my preference was to be an Indian rather than a Cowboy.
My interest in nature continued and I ended up as a prospector/geologist in Canada’ s far north. This included living in a tent with temperatures ranging to –40 degrees F. So I got married, worked as a patent agent for a while, then got into industrial sales, traveling extensively in North America and favouring problem solving via the introduction of innovative products.
Now, having retired, I created WoodenJigsawPuzzles.ca (me and my wife Pat, a retired teacher) in July 2008 in order to introduce my innovative jigsaw puzzle ideas and concepts to the world. Not just ordinary wooden jigsaw puzzles. Yes, our jigsaw puzzles are wooden jigsaw puzzles and they are hand made from top quality ¼” thick, 5 ply Baltic birch plywood but our wood jigsaw puzzles are very different in many ways.
We strive to offer very different and interesting variations in our types of jigsaw puzzles. Innovations that make our wooden jigsaw puzzles unique, challenging and lots of fun. For instance, our innovative cutting patterns, and mystical edge and corner pieces and our tendency to favor the creative participation of our customers by using their personal photos to make puzzles.
